Walking and Running in our Bio-Tensegrity Body
A workshop for movement and body-work professionals from all walks of life
On Day One we will look at and experience the bio-mechanical requirements of the foot, knee, hip, pelvis, spine and shoulders for easy and efficient walking and running. You will learn how to notice and free any limitations; bringing the fascial spring (back) into your bio-tensegrity body.
This workshop will be looking at the organisation of bone structures in walking and running and the requirements of the tissue supporting them.
You will discover movement tools and the theoretical background to assess and change global habit patterns playing out in a person’s walking or running.
You will learn to focus on the required elements that might need help, taking them out and under the ‘microscope’ and then putting it all together again.
On day two we will discover how an efficient walk and speed is enabled by and depends on spiralling and counter-spiralling movements around the spine and within the whole body
We should all be able to walk and run with joy, effortless and pain-free.
